Entry Fee
$10.00 per entry, no more than 3 entries per artist.
Email all entries to oz@symbeadoticgallery.com starting January 1, 2010
Credit Card/Paypal payments must be made on-line, button will be added on January 1, 2010

Application
An artist may submit up to 3 entries, a entry fee must be made for each one.
Each entry must be represented by two images, one full view, one detail view.
Email images with Title, Full Name, Address, Phone Number, Materials Used, Year Completed, Technique and Size to oz@symbeadoticgallery.com

Notification
Notification of the jurors' decision will be sent by email.

Requirements
Entries must be original work completed after January 1, 2009.
Artists must be 18 years of age or older.
There is no size limitation, just remember you will have to ship it for photographs.
Entries should be at least 50% beaded.

Conditions
Accepted work will need to be shipped to Symbeadotic Gallery, Minneapolis, MN.
Artist will include a return shipping postage/tag, more information will be included with winners notification.
Only entries submitted will be accepted, no substitutions.
Symbeadotic Gallery retains the right to reproduce and distribute the images of entries for publicity, documentation and educational purposes.

Selection
Work will be judged from digital images.
Selections will be based on originality, creativity, construction.
Work that is accepted and differs significantly from the images will be rejected and returned to the artist.

Photographing Your Work
Your entry will be judged on the images you send.
Use a digital camera that is 6 megapixals or better. Use a tripod if neccessary.
Each image must be in sharp focus on a neutral background.
Colors should represent the piece accurately.
Original digital photography should be taken at high resolution jpg or tiff format.
The image should not exceed 2MB

Naming The File
Use your last name only followed by a dash and the title then another dash then full or detail and the file extension (either .jpg or .tiff)
Example: LASTNAME-title-full.jpg, LASTNAME-title-detail.tiff
Filenames should not contain special charecters.
Use "baseline standard" when saving jpg files
Do not use compression when saving files.

Shipping
The artist is responsible for all shipping to and from the designated location.
Complete instructions will be included with notification of acceptance.
Accepted work must arrive at the designated location by May 1, 2010
Work must be shipped in sturdy reusable containers.
COD's will not be accepted.

Cash Prizes
There will be cash prizes awarded.
The amount of the prizes will be determined by the amount of entries.
